🔗MK Connect

MK Connect is an easy and flexible way to get around Milton Keynes, especially if you live somewhere without a regular bus service. It’s a shared, on-demand transport service that you book when you’re ready to travel, rather than following a fixed timetable or route. You can book a ride using the MK Connect app (on your phone, tablet, or computer), or by calling 01908 252526. Just enter your journey details and the system will match you with a vehicle heading in the same direction.

Once booked, the app will guide you to a nearby “virtual bus stop” – usually within a 5-minute walk – where you’ll meet your driver. You can track your vehicle in real time and will be dropped off close to your destination. It’s not a taxi, so you may share the ride with others, and there could be a short wait, similar to catching a bus.

The service runs Monday to Saturday from 6am to 8pm across Milton Keynes, and it’s fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with other mobility, hearing, or visual impairments. If there’s a suitable scheduled bus for your journey, the app or booking system will recommend that instead. Whether you’re commuting, heading to an appointment, or running errands, MK Connect is a practical option when other transport isn’t available or convenient.
