Cameron Mackintosh and Disney Theatrical Group’s spectacular production of the classic, multi-award-winning musical Mary Poppins flies into Milton Keynes from 29 October 2025 for a strictly limited season.

Since premiering at the Bristol Hippodrome in 2004, the stage adaptation of Mary Poppins has played to record-breaking audiences across the globe, earning more than 50 major international awards, including two Olivier Awards and a Tony Award. Seen by over 15 million people and translated into 13 languages, the production continues to capture hearts worldwide.

Leading the cast are Australian stars Stefanie Jones (Muriel’s Wedding The Musical) and Jack Chambers (So You Think You Can Dance Australia winner), reprising their acclaimed roles as Mary Poppins and Bert. They opened this UK and Ireland tour in Bristol last year to rave reviews. Patti Boulaye (Hair, Two Gentlemen of Verona) will play Bird Woman until Sun 16 Nov, with international recording artist and actress Lyn Paul taking over from Tue 18 Nov.

The cast also features Michael D. Xavier (Into the Woods, Love Story) as George Banks, Lucie-Mae Sumner (West End Mary Poppins) as Winifred Banks, Rosemary Ashe (The Witches of Eastwick) as Mrs Brill, Wendy Ferguson (Les Misérables) as Miss Andrew, Sharon Wattis (Book of Mormon) as Mrs Corry, Ruairidh McDonald (Matilda) as Robertson Ay, and David Burrows (Half a Sixpence, My Fair Lady, Oliver!) as Admiral Boom and Bank Chairman.

Young performers Olive Harrison, Connie Jones, Yvie Moore, Katie Ryden and Sienna Sibley alternate the role of Jane Banks, while Oliver Benson, Charlie Donald, Oli Manning, Joshua Miles and Oliver Noble alternate the role of Michael Banks.

Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney film, this magical production brings Cherry Tree Lane to life with dazzling choreography, jaw-dropping effects and beloved songs. The timeless score includes Sherman Brothers classics: Jolly Holiday, Step in Time, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Feed the Birds.

MARY POPPINS features original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, with new songs and additional material by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. The book is by Julian Fellowes, co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Orchestrations are by William David Brohn, with dance and vocal arrangements by George Stiles, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, lighting design by Hugh Vanstone, projections by Luke Hall, illusions by Paul Kieve & Jim Steinmeyer, and set and costumes by Bob Crowley. Co-Choreography is by Stephen Mear, with co-direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne, direction by Richard Eyre, UK & Ireland Tour direction by James Powell, choreography recreated by Richard Jones, and musical supervision by Stephen Brooker.
