On Friday, a black and white logo with the word cmk in a circle .centre:mk welcomed the festive season with its much-loved Santa Parade, drawing excited crowds as Father Christmas made his way through the mall. He then opened this year’s charming Peter Rabbit™ and Friends Grotto. We even went behind the scenes, and it’s an absolutely beautiful experience for families. Don’t miss it – our full review is coming soon.

The MyMK annual Christmas Switch-On took place on Saturday 22nd November in The Point car park, and the crowds showed up - despite the heavy rainfall.

The show began at 4pm, hosted by magician and comedian Dave Allen. Christ the Sower Primary School Choir were the first on the stage – these young performers braved the weather and sang their hearts out.

Next up was local performing arts school, Arts1. The singers and dancers performed a Frozen medley, with a brilliant Olaf puppet, followed by a big tap dance number from Elf and a solo performance by the awesome, grammy nominated, Ivano Turco.

As the rain cleared, the audience kept growing, drawn in by the amazing vocals of local jazz and swing singer Ollie Corbett. Ollie performs around the world with the Jack Pack - when he’s not creating content for the MyMK social media channels!

The amazing 50-strong Milton Keynes Rock Choir returned full of energy and enthusiasm, for a second year running.

The show culminated with a countdown, carried out by this year’s the milton keynes theatre logo is blue and white with a red stripe .Milton Keynes Theatre panto villain The Evil Ringmaster, alongside the one and only Father Christmas, and a fantastic firework display.
