
Ten years after the show last hit the road, Jamie Wilson Productions is bringing Calamity Jane back to the stage, starring multi-award-winning West End favourite Carrie Hope Fletcher in the iconic title role.
Joining Carrie are Vinny Coyle as Wild Bill Hickok, Luke Wilson as Danny, Seren Sandham-Davies as Katie Brown, Peter Peverley as Henry Miller, Hollie Cassar as Susan, Samuel Holmes as Francis Fryer, Molly-Grace Cutler as Adelaide Adams, Richard Lock as Rattlesnake, Ben Mabberley as Hank and Stage Door Keeper, Fergus Murphy as Joe and Harry, Tomas Wolstenholme as Buck, and Claire Greenway as Doc. Completing the cast are swings Emma Jane Morton, Lara Lewis, Jacob Leeson, Theo Diedrick, and Stephen Scott Stark.
The production reunites the original creative team, including direction by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster (An Officer and a Gentleman, Kinky Boots), co-direction and choreography by Nick Winston (Shrek The Musical, Burlesque The Musical), orchestration and music supervision by Catherine Jayes (The Color Purple, Merrily We Roll Along), and set and costume design by Matthew Wright (Everyone’s Talking About Jamie, Evita). Lighting design is by Tim Mitchell, sound design by Ben Harrison, with casting by Debbie O’Brien.
Carrie Hope Fletcher is no stranger to the spotlight, having won the WhatsOnStage Best Actress in a Musical award three times. Her stage credits include originating the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, as well as acclaimed performances in Heathers, The Addams Family, and Les Misérables. Carrie is also a bestselling author and a social media powerhouse, with over 635,000 YouTube subscribers and more than a million monthly views.
