The newly envisaged set design is a real triumph, keeping the action moving fluidly between scenes with colourful miniature replicas of buildings creating a sense of place and time, while allowing space for the show’s many large-scale dance numbers and high-octane performances. The staging is simple but incredibly effective, ensuring the focus remains firmly on the performers while maintaining a slick pace throughout.
Amber Davies is phenomenal as Elle Woods and proves this was far more than just “casting a name.” Barely leaving the stage, she delivers a performance packed with stunning vocals, sharp comedic timing and impressive choreography. Davies captures Elle’s warmth, determination and vulnerability perfectly, making her transformation across the show feel both authentic and inspiring.

The second act bursts into life with Jocasta Almgill as Brooke Wyndham performing Whipped Into Shape, a jaw-dropping jump rope number that has to be seen to be believed. Almgill’s stamina is astonishing; the fact she can sing with such power and precision while continuously jumping is nothing short of incredible.
The ensemble deserves enormous credit for the energy they bring to every moment of the show. Each chorus member adds personality and vibrancy, helping to create a world that feels bursting with life. Among the highlights are the powerhouse Hannah Lowther (also alternate Elle) as Margot, alongside her fellow Greek chorus members Rosanna Harris as Serena and Remi Ferdinand as Pilar, who together deliver some of the show’s biggest vocal moments.
George Crawford brings warmth and sincerity to Emmett, while Jamie Chatterton’s Warner perfectly captures the smug charm of Elle’s ex. Adam Cooper commands the stage as the intimidating Professor Callahan, leading the male ensemble with confidence and presence.

And no review would be complete without a special mention for the show’s four-legged stars. Sprout as Bruiser Woods and Milo as Rufus were quite simply the best doggos, earning some of the biggest cheers of the night.
Packed with humour, heart and dazzling performances, Legally Blonde proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. This vibrant production delivers big vocals, infectious choreography and a whole lot of pink-powered joy — leaving Milton Keynes audiences ready to bend and snap all the way home.
