Britain’s biggest professional cycle race returns to Milton Keynes on 4th September 2025 for the first time since 2008! The Tour of Britain is the UK’s leading professional cycling race, attracting some of the world’s top riders and teams. Held annually, the multi-stage event showcases the very best of British landscapes as cyclists compete across cities, countryside, and coastal routes. Known for its thrilling sprints, challenging climbs, and electric atmosphere, the race draws huge crowds and national attention. Each stage offers a unique test of endurance and strategy, making it a must-watch for sports fans. Whether you're a dedicated cycling enthusiast or a curious spectator, the Tour of Britain delivers world-class racing and unforgettable moments.

Tour of Britain - stage 3

On Thursday 4 September, the third stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men will take place in central England, between Milton Keynes and Ampthill, in Central Bedfordshire. with the stage starting from in the town centre. Stage three will get underway at 11:30am from Milton Keynes’ Midsummer Boulevard - outside MK Gallery and Milton Keynes Theatre - where special activities will be happening for spectators. It will then cross Campbell Park before heading south on grid roads, leaving the H7 Chaffron Way for a long stretch on the V10 Brickhill Street, passing the Open University headquarters and the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula One technology campus before racing to Woburn Sands and on into Central Bedfordshire. The stage finishes in Ampthill town centre at around 14:40.
