If you live, work or are visiting the city centre, there’s no need to travel back to your usual polling station. Simply turn up and you’ll be issued with a ballot paper for the ward you’re registered in.
The hub will be open from 7am to 10pm, making it easy to fit voting around your day. Just remember to bring photo ID, as you would at any polling station.
This election is a major one for Milton Keynes, with all 60 council seats being contested across newly drawn ward boundaries.
The Central Voting Hub is part of a national pilot scheme designed to modernise voting. Milton Keynes is the only location trialling a fully centralised hub, helping people vote more conveniently, even if they’re away from their local area.
Accessibility is a key focus, with assistive reading devices available to read ballot papers aloud via headphones, and trained staff on hand throughout the day to offer support. Free parking is also available for Blue Badge holders on Avebury Boulevard and Saxon Gate.
Whether you choose to vote at the hub or your usual polling station, secure systems are in place to ensure everyone can only vote once.
