Exciting news for Milton Keynes City Centre – a brand-new 4000-capacity events venue is coming!

Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) has chosen ATG Entertainment, the global leader in live entertainment and operator of Milton Keynes Theatre since 1999, as the preferred partner for the multi-purpose venue at the Old Bus Station on Elder Gate.

The £76 million venue will bring blockbuster concerts, comedy shows, and live performances that the current theatre can’t accommodate. With over 100 headline events planned each year, it’s set to attract more than 300,000 visitors annually, giving locals and visitors even more reasons to enjoy the city’s growing cultural scene.

The development is expected to deliver £158 million in economic and community benefits and create around 70 new jobs. It will sit next to the recently revitalised Station Square and near Unity Place, Santander UK’s new £150 million headquarters and community hub.

Later this year, MKDP will launch a public consultation so local voices can help shape the venue. Construction is expected to start soon after, with the venue scheduled to open in 2029.
