Murder on the Orient Express remains one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated works, featuring one of her most brilliant twists. Gripping, suspenseful, and masterfully crafted, this brand-new production delivers a thrilling ride and an ingenious murder mystery, guaranteed to keep audiences guessing until the final moment.
Leading the cast as Christie’s iconic Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, is acclaimed stage and screen actor Michael Maloney (Belfast, The Young Victoria, Notes on a Scandal).
Joining Maloney in Lucy Bailey’s new production of the UK & Ireland tour of Murder on the Orient Express are:

Set in winter 1934, the Orient Express comes to a halt when an avalanche blocks the tracks. Inside, an American tycoon is found dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, with his door locked from the inside. Trapped in the snow with a murderer still on board, can the legendary Hercule Poirot solve the mystery before the train reaches its final stop?
Directed by Lucy Bailey (Witness for the Prosecution, And Then There Were None, The Other Boleyn Girl), this production features design by Mike Britton, lighting by Oliver Fenwick, video design by Ian Galloway, sound by Mic Pool, movement direction by Leah Hausman, casting by Abby Galvin, and assistant direction by Victoria Gartner.
