This marks the beginning of a fresh addition for visitors — details of which are yet to be revealed — and forms a key part of the centre’s long-term vision, which began with the revitalisation of The Boulevard.

Now fully relaunched, The Boulevard and its central Bandstand have become a vibrant focal point for visitors, offering an eclectic mix of international cuisines from popular independent food vendors, alongside live performances from local music and entertainment acts.

“We’re building real momentum and giving people a reason to return to Central Milton Keynes to explore what’s new and unique at Midsummer Place,” said Simon Martin, Centre Manager at Midsummer Place.

In the past year alone, the centre has welcomed global heavyweights in retail, including the opening of a brand-new a white apple logo on a grey backgroundApple store, followed by fashion powerhouse the word flannels is on a black background .FLANNELS and a supersized a blue , red and white sports direct logo on a white background .Sports Direct — three times the size of its former unit. These additions have significantly modernised the retail offering and drawn a broader range of visitors to the centre.

Further boosting the experience, the recent arrival of Logo of Lane7Lane7 — a boutique bowling and entertainment venue — has been warmly received. With bowling, retro arcade games, karaoke and more, it adds a strong leisure dimension that distinguishes Midsummer Place from the typical shopping destination.

And there’s more to come. This summer will see the arrival of a newly upgraded a red logo for hollister with a bird on itHollister store on East Walk, next to the lego logo is on a red background .LEGO. This relocation underscores the brand’s investment in Midsummer Place and its confidence in the centre’s future direction.

Simon Martin added: “The removal of the Upside Down House is another significant milestone in our mission to reimagine and elevate Midsummer Place. Our goal is to create a dynamic, inspiring destination that blends retail, dining and leisure in one seamless experience. Every step forward brings us closer to that vision — and there’s plenty more still to come.”

The new facility set to replace the Upside Down House will be revealed in the coming months, continuing Midsummer Place’s evolution in response to the needs of modern shoppers.
