Taking place from 12–16 October 2026, Milton Keynes Tech Week will bring together innovators, businesses and communities for a city-wide celebration of technology. The inaugural event attracted more than 23,000 attendees across 30+ events.
“Milton Keynes has firmly established itself as a leading home for technology and innovation in the UK. Tech Week is a powerful reflection of that strength, bringing together the people, ideas and businesses shaping the future. We’re proud to support its return and encourage organisations to get involved, showcase their work and be part of the city’s continued growth.”
– Cllr Jane Carr, Leader of Milton Keynes City Council
Businesses, organisations and community groups are invited to host events, including workshops, panels, demonstrations and networking sessions. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those looking to raise their profile and connect with the city’s thriving tech sector.
Highlights already confirmed include an official launch event and VIP reception at Bletchley Park on Monday 12 October, hosted by Milton Keynes City Council, and a major technology conference on Thursday 15 October.
Milton Keynes is home to more than 2,400 tech businesses, contributing £3.4 billion to the local economy, with around one in three jobs linked to the sector. The city has earned a reputation as a testbed for innovation and continues to attract national and international attention for its work in technology.
Milton Keynes Tech Week 2026 is funded by Milton Keynes City Council and delivered by Protospace CIC, an independent not-for-profit organisation supporting the local tech community.
