Kinky Boots the Musical returns to MK Theatre in a brand-new production

Producers ROYO and Curve are thrilled to present this brand-new Made at Curve production, which will bring the uplifting and vibrant story of Kinky Boots back to the stage.
Leading the fantastic cast is Johannes Radebe (Strictly Come Dancing) as Lola, Dan Partridge (Grease) as Charlie Price, and Courtney Bowman (Legally Blonde) as Lauren.
They are joined by Newtion Matthews (Once On This Island), who will play Lola at certain performances, as well as Simon Snr for all other performances. The cast also features Kara Lily Hayworth (Cilla The Musical) as Nicola, Joe Caffrey (Billy Elliot) as Don, Kathryn Barnes (Guys & Dolls) as Pat, Lucy Williamson (Fame!) as Trish, Jonathan Dryden Taylor (Fiddler on the Roof) as Mr Price, Scott Paige (I Should Be So Lucky) as George, and Liam Doyle (Heathers) as Harry.
Completing the ensemble are Kofi Dennis (Hamlet), Ru Fisher (Something Rotten! Live in Concert), Ben Middleton (Grease), Ashley-Jordon Packer (A Chorus Line), Cerys Burton (The Odyssey), Cole Dunn (The Wizard of Oz), Kaya Farrugia (There’s No Place Like Home), Jordan Isaac (Evita), Deena Kapadia (Grease), Tori McDougall (Billy Elliot), and Liam McEvoy (Legally Blonde).
Featuring a score by Cyndi Lauper and a book by Harvey Fierstein, this new production is directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster (The Wizard of Oz, A Chorus Line, Billy Elliot).
A Broadway and West End sensation, Kinky Boots is based on the true story and the 2005 film of the same name. It follows Charlie Price, who, after inheriting his family’s struggling shoe factory and facing a failing relationship, unexpectedly finds inspiration in Lola, a dazzling drag queen who just might hold the key to saving the business.
