Following the sell-out success of And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express, acclaimed director Lucy Bailey (Witness for the Prosecution), writer Ken Ludwig, and producers Fiery Angel reunite for the European premiere of a brand-new stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile. This thrilling production will embark on a nationwide tour, bringing one of Christie’s most iconic mysteries to life on stage.

Set against the scorching Egyptian sun, a luxurious cruise turns deadly when a seemingly perfect honeymoon is shattered by murder. As long-buried secrets resurface, Hercule Poirot must navigate a tangled web of jealousy, deception, and revenge to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.

James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited shared his excitement:
"With the ongoing success of Murder on the Orient Express, we are delighted to be working once again with Lucy Bailey, Ken Ludwig, and Fiery Angel to bring another of my great-grandmother’s most celebrated stories to UK audiences.”

This marks Lucy Bailey’s fifth Agatha Christie production since directing Witness for the Prosecution, which continues its run at London’s County Hall. She is eager to return to Poirot’s world:
"I’m thrilled to follow Murder on the Orient Express with another of Poirot’s most famous cases, Death on the Nile. Set in the midsummer heat of Egypt, this is one of Christie’s most passion-driven thrillers, where a group of holidaymakers, drawn to the ancient beauty of the Nile, find themselves trapped in a nightmare of jealousy and revenge. Stranded on a pleasure steamer and adrift on the Nile, it becomes a journey into the heart of darkness."

Casting is yet to be announced.

Death on the Nile will be directed by Lucy Bailey, with the UK & Ireland tour presented by Fiery Angel.
