Prime Midsummer Place mall space opens to local businesses
Summer has drawn to a close, the children are back at school, and attention is already turning to… Christmas!
Midsummer Place is excited to announce the launch of its much-anticipated Christmas Tree Community Festival, which opens today. This festive initiative gives local businesses the chance to gain prime seasonal exposure while supporting local charities.
Running from 15 November to 24 December 2025, participating businesses can sponsor and decorate one of 20 Christmas trees in the mall – securing valuable visibility during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.
Past sponsors include Red Bull Racing, Franklins Solicitors LLP, Hays Travel, Redway Runners, and more.
The cost to take part is just £300, with all proceeds going into a prize fund. The three trees receiving the most public votes will share the fund, with 50% awarded to first place, 30% to second, and 20% to third.
“Kicking off today, the Christmas Tree Community Festival offers local businesses not just tremendous visibility in our mall over the festive period, but also a meaningful way to give back to our community,” said Kirsty McGiff, Marketing Manager at Midsummer Place. “We’re excited to welcome creative entries that shine throughout the season and help make the holidays brighter for everyone.”
Shoppers can vote for their favourite trees between 15 November and 24 December 2025.
Businesses and organisations interested in taking part can complete the application form via the Midsummer Place website: Be Part Of Our Community Christmas Tree Festival | Midsummer Place
