Coming to MK Pride 🏳️‍🌈

On Saturday 13th September, Campbell Park will once again burst into colour for MK Pride.

Sitting right on the edge of Milton Keynes City Centre, the park is the perfect setting for a day of celebration, music and community. Whether you’re here just for the day, staying overnight or making a whole weekend of it, there’s so much to enjoy before, during and after the festival.

MK Pride opens at 12 noon, but if you’re in the city early there are plenty of places to start your day. For breakfast, you can’t go wrong with The Cosy Club, Bill’s, Fabrice or Wetherspoons – each serving up generous morning menus that will keep you fuelled for hours.

If you’re arriving by train and strolling up the bunting-lined Midsummer Boulevard, you’ll find plenty of grab-and-go coffee stops along the way, including Unity Place at the station, Starbucks and Pret A Manger inside Midsummer Place and centre:mk, or one of two Costa cafés – near M&S and John Lewis. Cineworld at Xscape also has a handy Starbucks inside. If you’ve got a little more time and fancy sitting down with a proper coffee and pastry, head for the newly opened Hide & Seek, Bogota Coffee in The Hub or Xpresso Net in Xscape.

If you need to step away from the festival during the day, 12th Street is just a two-minute walk from Campbell Park. It’s packed with restaurants and bars, making it a great place to recharge before heading back into the fun.

If you’re staying overnight, there are some brilliant options right in the city centre. MK Pride’s official accommodation sponsor, Hotel LaTour, overlooks Campbell Park and couldn’t be more convenient. Make sure you take the lift to the 14th floor during your stay – not only for the incredible views and a drink, but also to see the breathtaking tribute to the late The Vivienne, whose dress is displayed there as a fitting reminder of her legacy. Other nearby choices include the Premier Inn in 12th Street, the Holiday Inn, Leonardo Hotel and more, with plenty still available if you haven’t booked yet. You can check out our full Hotel Guide here.

If you do decide to stay on, there’s plenty to enjoy the day after Pride. Take it slow with a lie-in followed by brunch or lunch at one of the city’s many restaurants, or, if you’re still buzzing from the celebrations, dive into some of the activities Milton Keynes has to offer. You could go bowling, play a round of adventure golf, sing your heart out at karaoke, or push yourself a little further with indoor skydiving at iFLY or skiing at Snozone. However, you’re feeling, there’s something to match every mood.

Wherever you’re travelling from, and however long you’re staying, MK Pride promises an unforgettable day in Campbell Park. Have the best MK Pride! 🌈
