Dinosaur Kilby is an artist-curator based in Birmingham, UK, and currently works as a Creative Producer at Wolverhampton Art Gallery. Ellie Brown is a researcher, writer and editor whose work explores the afterlives of a twentieth-century vision for a new Britain, focusing on shopping centres and public art. She holds a PhD in the art and architectural history of British shopping centres built between 1967 and 1982.
What does it mean to haunt…? To cause repeated suffering and distress? To return to a place time and again? As footsteps echo across the smooth travertine tiles of Milton Keynes' iconic shopping building, Ellie searches for the answers.
Presented by Arts Central Studios and curated by Rookie Services, Shallow Gallery is a public art platform that celebrates contemporary artists and Milton Keynes' creative community.
Discover the gallery to the left of the Field Walk entrance (Door 13), next to Next. The exhibition is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
