Yeehaw, Milton Keynes! Saddle up, because the whip-crackin’ musical comedy Calamity Jane is galloping into town.
Based on the beloved Doris Day movie, this all-singin’, all-dancin’ production stars West End powerhouse Carrie Hope Fletcher (Cinderella, Les Misérables) as the fearless frontierswoman herself.
Joining her on stage are Vinny Coyle (Mozart: Her Story, Aspects of Love) as Wild Bill Hickok, Luke Wilson (Much Ado About Nothing, Rockets & Blue Lights) as Danny, and Seren Sandham-Davies (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) bringing even more star power to the plains.
Meet Calamity Jane – the boldest, brassiest gal in the Dakota territory. She’s quick on the draw, but when a glamorous Chicago showgirl arrives in Deadwood, Jane’s got more than just guns to wrangle – her heart’s in for a showdown too.
Featuring classic tunes like The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), Just Blew In from the Windy City, The Black Hills of Dakota and the Oscar-winning Secret Love, this high-energy revival from The Watermill Theatre is directed by Nikolai Foster, co-directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, with musical supervision from Olivier, Grammy, and Tony Award-winner Catherine Jayes.
So what are you waiting for, cowpokes? Whip-crack-away and book your tickets now!
