centre:mk – did you know centre:mk have dedicated ‘chill-out zones’ for you to step away from the hustle and bustle of shopping and the crowds and enjoy a moment of peace and relaxation. These areas are designed to offer more comfortable seating, are in quieter areas of the shopping centre and have greenery around them to fully allow you to unwind. Chill out zones are strategically placed throughout the centre, but one of the best areas are along either side of John Lewis heading towards the centre:mk car park.

Discovery Trail, centre:mk – Explore their newly released ‘Discovery Trail’ which is encourages you to move around the 1.2-mile circular route discovering the shopping centre’s fascinating history, sculptures, and interesting facts along the way. A more relaxed way to move around the centre and take in what’s around you.

Gravity – the freedom to fly at your pace. 60-minute whole park session. The lights come up and the sounds go down at our relaxed SEN sessions when the whole Gravity Park is open exclusively for members of recognised disabled groups. Sessions for Half Term are Tuesday 28th and Sunday 2nd June 9-10am. Booking is advised.

Cineworld – The new Garfield movie delivers a fresh, hilarious adventure as the lasagna-loving cat embarks on a fun-filled journey with his quirky friends. Sunday 2nd June Cineworld is showing an Autism Friendly screening at 11am and following this, the first Sunday of every month, (check their website for future films).

Central Library – Introduce your SEN child to the wonders of the library, where imagination knows no bounds. Discover sensory-friendly spaces, gentle storytelling sessions, and accessible resources tailored to their needs. From quiet corners to interactive exhibits, the library offers a sanctuary for exploration and learning, fostering a love for books and discovery.

Green Spaces – Central Milton Keynes has two large green spaces for visitors to enjoy: Fred Roche Gardens and Grafton Park. These areas, landscaped by our team, offer a hidden sanctuary off the beaten track for you to soak up the peace, nature and hopefully the sun. Fred Roche Gardens is located behind Church of Christ the Cornerstone and Grafton Park is tucked behind The Pinnacle on Midsummer Boulevard. Perfect after experiencing sensory overload from the main leisure and entertainment areas. Why not take a picnic!
